How often should I change my water filter?

Like all water filters, your shower filter will need to be replaced. Just because a shower is not used often or for very long, this does not mean replacing the filter is not necessary. It only takes a few uses for a filter to need eventual replacing. Bacteria can still build up in the filter, even if it is not used regularly. A good rule of thumb is to replace your shower filter every 10,000 gallons or every six months.
