How can I remember to change my water filter?

Replacing Water Filters

Depending on the method of water filtration you use, you should replace your filters regularly. Usually, replacing a large countertop or under-the counter filter should be done every six months or every 750 gallons. Pitcher filters should be replaced about every month. Try replacing your filters on a memorable day of the month, your favorite number for example. Mark your calendar to remind yourself when replacing is needed. Keep a store of replacement water filters on hand to be sure you don't run out when you need them!
